How to properly start blogging?

In order to properly start blogging then you the blogger need to define your objectives or in other words what you want to achieve using your blog. Your objectives should be clearly defined, concise and easy to understand. When trying to determine what your objectives are then you should avoid starting a blog for money, Notoriety or just to get traffic.

Money- Starting a website with the sole intention of making money is wrong. Blog is the same as with any other profession you try out; if you do not love the job then you will not be good at it. To be good at it then you need to have a special kind of love or passion for it. This love will act as your seat of motivation which will allow you to blog as often and as regular as you want. Love for the job is a better motivation than money. With blogging it will take you time before you build the kind of web traffic that will allow you to make a proper income, so therefore before you start blogging then you need to look at your objectives.

Notoriety-Many of us as individuals when use some of the most common search engines then we end up reading many blogs. Some of these bloggers are quite famous on the internet. So seeing how famous some of these individuals are then many of us decided that we want to be bloggers just to be famous. This again is not the right intention or objective to use when you are just beginning your blog. A blog shouldn’t be used with the objective of only becoming famous but rather there should be a clear deeper objective which would then be followed by the fame of blogging.

Traffic-again many of us will after having started a blog begin to worry about gaining traffic. So due to this constant worrying about traffic we join many programs and try to promote our blog and we thus lose focus as to the real reason behind us blogging. That is why it is said that not all traffic is good traffic to build proper exposure takes time and effort.

So when deciding whether or not to start a blog please ensure that you avoid these reasons money, notoriety and traffic. These are all invalid reasons for any to use as a basis to start blogging. In my next blog we will look at some positive reasons or objectives you can use so as to start a blog.
